Barb and Elmer took us all out for dinner tonight. We ate at a great open air restaurant that over looked Tamarindo Beach. Dan
This year an "open forum" board meeting was held in the office to get to know the details of the love lives of the un-married. This replaced the traditional Inquisition favored by Terry. Dan

Sweaty morning of tennis. Champion?
The Tamarindo Tennis Team! And the winner is....? Tim...Mike? Mike pulled a muscle and Craig had to step in for him with the win. It was a 2 hour marathon with 98% humidity!

Two nights of Grandma Barb's "getting to know you" games proved to be entertaining, informational, and humorous. They may replace Terry's inquisition game from previous beach trips much to the relief of the single crowd.
Sue
Family picture night of the Tamarinda Team minus Amy because she was playing photographer and Nelson because he was on Skype. The real photo will have Amy in it but it is on grandpa's old fashioned film camera that has the timer that we know how to work. Sue
Here is an example of two old people enjoying the beach pool side! However, we did make it to the ocean each day. Having a great time. Elmer & Barb
The tour books were correct. Most streets are not paved. It usually rains everyday for at least 1-2 hours. We don't mind because we are ready to get out of the sun! Dan, Julie, Jordan and Dillon are heading to the Super Compro (grocery like store comparable to a mini mart)

Eating lunch on the Blue Dolphin after a morning of snorkeling and kayaking. Some of us weren't feeling quite up to eating lunch, but we had a good time anyway.

Every night we have 2 guards. They were nice enough to take this pic with us. They are stationed here between 6pm and 8am!
Lynn, doing the upside down zip-line. Dan
Today, the zip-line outing was mandatory for all. The younger folks figured, if Barb, Elmer, and Sue can do it, we could too. It was a riot!!! Here is a photo before the death-defying rides down the mountain. Stay tuned for a photo of Lynn showing off. Dan

It is a third world country, Sunday our water quit working so we had to resort to the pasta pot to clear the toilet. SHIT HAPPENS! Thank goodness we had easy access to the pool water! Water is flowing today!!

Most bedrooms have open roof showers. Allison and Alisha learned that they need to keep the bathroom door closed or the skitters can make it to their bedroom. They bodies are sporting several bites!

Watch carefully where you step or you might step on a crab. They blend in with the red petals from a tree that looks like a mimosa tree.
Sue
Walking to supper on the first night, all 20 of us ate at an oceanfront seafood resturant, that got us used to "Tico" time . . . no hurry, sunset & sunrise at 6:00 so we came home in the dark between showers.
This is the beach outside our villa. It is hot and HUMID! Off to rent surf boards. The waves are better north of here so we will be hiking with surf boards soon.
